Lente?

I think Lent(h)e is a lovely, cheerful name for a girl.
What do you all think?

(My sister is Lisanne and grandma is Elisabeth, so the full name would be Lenthe Lisanne Elisabeth)

I'm aware that the connection to autumn and winter is quickly made.

It's our first baby, I like this but it's not really our thing to go with more names in the same category (names with direct meanings like Rover, Rose, Jasmine). Could I choose something else for the next one?

    Hi Annemarie,

I get that you find it a cheerful name. But I'm not really into summer, winter, autumn, and spring names myself ;-) But why not Yent(h)e? A beautiful, cheerful, characterful name that also fits well with the other two names. Other variants for this are, for example; Yinthe, Ninthe. Personally, I think Yent(h)e is a really beautiful name that you don't hear that often.

    Greetings, Nicole

Oh, and I'm totally in love with "Lente"—it's also on my list!! "Winter" is there too. I also consciously look at the meanings of the names. I think that's super important!!

I'd love to hear "Una" (pronounced Oena) (means united).
And Eden, Ode, Zaya, Imani, Millo.. I have a whole pile!! Haha
For now, we've chosen "Zion" and for a girl "Delaya" or "Sumera"—all unique names, you just have to go for it!! The more unique, the better I think!!

Personally, I wouldn't choose it, but I do think it looks really nice with an h in it. I also think Yenthe is a beautiful alternative.
