    Hi!

    That's also a lovely name. We've agreed that it'll be either Sem or Jurrian/Jurian, but which one should it be? What do you think if you had to choose between these two?

    Jurrian, is weer eens wat anders. Sem is leuk maar komt al veel voor sinds Wendy van Dijk haar zoon zo noemde.

    We're expecting our first baby in a few months, and Jurrian is now our favorite. More original and cooler than Julian. The only thing that could happen is that people might hear it as Julian or spell it wrong: Jurriejan etc. I'm curious what you guys choose!

    I'd go for Jurian (or Jurrian).
    Some people also hear Jurian when they hear Julian, so it doesn't really matter in that regard.

    Sem is certainly not as popular as it was 8 years ago, but I still don't find it beautiful.

    I think Sem is a really nice name, but it's a bit more "common" and comes up more often. Recently we got a birth announcement with this name, and you just think "Another Sem". For that reason, I'd go for Jurrian. You don't hear it often, it's original!

    Even though Sem is a bit more common, I’d still choose that one.
