I can't choose...

I love tough, sporty, and sweet names. I'm having a girl soon, and I can't decide between these two names:
Pip
Puck

Can you help me?

I can't help you choose, I think they're both super cute!

For a cat or a kid????
The previous topic was about a cat!
    A bit weird

    Fay!
Haha no but seriously I'd go for Puck

    Mmm, Pip, I think so.
Even though I call my doggie that... But I don't really like Puck anyway.

Those names are totally not my taste.
But if I had to choose, I'd go with Puck.
I don't think Pip is a suitable name for a child.
It reminds me of a character from a cartoon or something.
    But tastes differ, of course
    So I'd go with Puck.

I like both names, with a slight preference for Pip. I think Pippa is even nicer, and then shortened to Pip.

Ooh I like them both a lot.. But I'm going with Pip!

    Puck! Of Pien!

She's asking this for a kitten, whshahahahaha

It’s just about a girl, not a cat or something. Or did I read that completely wrong?!

I don’t think Pip or Puck are that great. They’re nice for a kid, but less so for an adult. I like Philippa or Pippa better than Pip.

She has 3 topics with the same names. She started by saying her daughter is getting a kitten and was torn between Puck and Pip, whahaha.
  12. madelene #13

    But she clearly writes:
    I'm having a girl soon.
So this is about a baby.
I don't look at other topics.
    I'm answering this topic now.

    I really like Pip!

They're both a bit childish names. People either find them really cute or not at all.
  15. madelene #16

Yes, I agree with Sannaha. You really have to love these names.

I still think Puck is the cutest of the two, but it always reminds me of hockey.
Is Pip also cute for a 50-year-old, for example? Maybe as a nickname, but I’d never choose it as an official name.

    I understand the confusion,

I'm having a daughter and a kitten, and I think Pip and Puck work as both kitten and human names, hence the two topics.
Bo, I find more suitable for a cat.

    Pip

I don't think Pip is suitable for an adult.
I think Puck could still be quite cool for an adult. But personally, I'd go for a longer first name and use Puck as a nickname.

That way, she'll have more options to choose from when she's older.
