How quickly can you lose the weight again?

Reached a total of 9 kg with the first baby, and after giving birth, my belly was already almost gone. By the end of the first week, I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight.
I didn’t do anything special to lose the weight.

Now I’m pregnant with the second baby, have gained 6 kg so far, and I’m 27 weeks along.

With the first 20 kilos and after 4 weeks, I could wear my own pants again. There was a lot of fluid, but it went away quickly.

Now I've gained about 10 kilos, and we'll see how fast it goes away.

Don't stress too much about it. If you eat healthily and the reason you're gaining weight isn't just poor eating habits, you'll usually lose it again pretty quickly.

I never really gained that much weight.
After my two pregnancies, I didn’t need to lose much either.
It just happened naturally. I got my figure back again. Maybe it was because I breastfed,
which supposedly helps you lose weight faster.
Don’t stress too much about it.

I was about 13 pounds heavier with my first, but the day after giving birth I could already wear my size 34 pants again! It varies a lot from person to person, so don't stress too much about it. And yes, breastfeeding supposedly helps you lose the weight faster!

Go for nice long walks when the little one is around.

Now at 31+5 weeks and gained 10 pounds in total.

Thanks everyone! I’d also really like to breastfeed. The doctor says that you’ll lose weight faster indeed because breastfeeding alone burns 700 calories..

Nice to hear that it went pretty smoothly for you

The amount of weight you gain is also partly related to your starting weight. Someone who is very slim often gains more during pregnancy than someone who is overweight.
I myself have excess weight and given my weight, I shouldn't gain too much during pregnancy. It ended up being 5 kilos. So after the birth of my son, I was lighter than before the pregnancy.
When breastfeeding, you really burn a lot of calories. I was amazed at how much I ate in a day. But you can't use that as a way to get rid of waste either; you also need to consume enough to make the milk.
As long as you eat healthily now in normal portions. And don't just shove everything in under the motto "I'm eating for two." I wouldn't worry about your weight. Then you just need those extra kilos to carry your baby.
After giving birth, just eat healthily again and go outside a lot to get some exercise.
