Only positive ovulation tests

Hi! I have a question for someone I know. She took ovulation tests, but they all came out equally positive. She already went to her GP, but he didn’t even know what ovulation tests are, which is quite strange. Do you know what this could mean? See the photo?

Could you maybe be pregnant? I once read that that's also an option.

If these tests are from different days, I’d also take a pregnancy test. A peak usually lasts max 24 hours, so 2 days of positive ovulation tests is possible. But there are a lot of them here..

Yeah, I thought that too. Wouldn't it be too early for her to take a pregnancy test already?

I also had positive ovulation tests for a long time in a row.
Then I did a pregnancy test. And sure enough, very positive.
I'm now 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant.
So I definitely recommend doing a pregnancy test. Since an ovulation test also picks up the pregnancy hormone. The other way around doesn't work.

I'll advise her to take a test. Hope it's okay for her. I'm 9 weeks pregnant myself, so it would be nice haha.
    Congratulations on your pregnancy too!

Try using different ovulation tests, like the ones from Action, and see if they’re positive too.

    Hi everyone,

I have a question and I hope you can help me or have an answer.
I had some bleeding on April 16th and 17th (didn't really look like a period), it wasn't bright red blood, more rust-brown (sorry for the details).
On April 18th it was gone.
On April 19th I had a brown smear when wiping, and that was it.
Currently, I'm not in my fertile period.
I've also had cramping abdominal pain for a few weeks now.....
Well, I still had an ovulation test lying around, and I thought, let's test......and I really got 2 thick lines.
I've tested positive for 2 days now.
I heard that you can use an ovulation test as a pregnancy test, because LH is almost identical to the pregnancy hormone.
    Is this true?

    Best,

That's right, that's how I found out I was pregnant. It doesn't have to be like that for everyone, but it can happen.
