Too wet after stopping the pill?

Hi ladies, maybe a bit of an embarrassing question, but luckily I can ask it anonymously on a forum! Hopefully someone recognizes it!

After Christmas I stopped the pill and am now still in the process of coming off it. We're aiming for our first baby and at the end of January I got quite a heavy period, heavier than usual. Luckily that's over now, but I have breasts that are very sensitive (my nipples for a week now!) and I'm much wetter than usual! It seems really nice at first, but I'm normally already quite wet and prone to discharge, but now it's even worse! During the day it's okay, just a little bit of discharge in my panties, but during sex with my husband it's really unpleasant! He says he feels less and just now he barely managed to finish! I'm really worried that coming off the pill is causing this. It's only been a short while, are there others who recognize this and will it get better? Is getting wetter also part of coming off the pill? Sorry for this embarrassing question!

Sorry I can't help you, girl. I haven't noticed much difference after stopping the pill. Maybe someone else can?

I can relate to your complaints about heavier periods and breast discomfort. I had that too after coming off the pill. I noticed I became a bit wetter, but before that, I actually had issues with dryness. For me, it wasn't really a significant difference. Maybe it'll get better once your body has fully adjusted to being off the pill and everything returns to normal...

Maris, so you felt a bit too dry and then, after stopping the pill, got wetter?

I'm naturally quite wet and don't use any lube or anything. Do you?

We did use it indeed. After the pill withdrawal it was a bit more, but not by much. I don't really know what you can do about it. Hopefully it'll turn out to be nothing in a while.

I don't think there's much you can do about it, except lots of prediction, hehe! I've always found that I get wet easily, which can be annoying sometimes!

Make sure you're not using a spermicidal lubricant?

Haha, no worries. I just mean that I don't know what you can do about your issue. For me, spermicidal lubricant isn't a problem anymore since I'm already pregnant. But if you're trying to get pregnant, it's definitely better to use something like Pre-Seed lubricant.

I don't really have a problem with it now that I'm in a long-term relationship. When I used to have occasional boyfriends, I found it pretty embarrassing how wet I'd get!
