MHMH
Hi ladies,

I really want to get pregnant and now... these are the symptoms I'm having:

- pain on the sides of my breasts
- my nipples have gotten bigger (not sensitive though!)
- bumps around the nipples.
- severe pain lower down in my belly
- pain in my groin... like cramps.
- feeling nauseous from time to time
- always hungry.. or the feeling that I'm hungry.
- my body temperature keeps going up.
- headaches
- extremely tired.. want to lie in bed all day.
- mood swings from here to tokyo ! apologizing to my boyfriend every evening. poor guy

Does anyone recognize this? My last period was on December 17th, so I should have had it a long time ago. I tested negative for pregnancy. And now I'm 1 day before my expected period..

First, I’d take a test. If nothing comes out, then go to your GP. But these things can also come from the body adjusting after stopping the pill; your body needs time. It’s also possible that you skip a cycle. You can feel all sorts of things, but there’s nothing there.

Hi Marieke, I’d do a test because you’re already overdue and take further steps based on that...
Make an appointment with your GP to explain what’s going on... And get a blood test done for hCG...
I hope your test will be positive

Well, long story short, here it is...

I last got my period on December 17th. So I should have gotten it again in early January, but I didn't. The GP told me there was nothing wrong and that I'd just missed one cycle... which I'd NEVER had before?! I'd already been off the pill for a year and a half by early January. No withdrawal bleed, though, because luckily I'd already had that experience, phew. So according to my tracking (yes, I've been keeping track), I should have gotten it this week, but then suddenly this happened... My body played tricks on me in December, but now, ugh, it feels so different. Today my boyfriend wanted to hug me and put his arms around my waist, and my two dogs, who normally never lie near me, suddenly did—and they started growling at him, as if he wasn't allowed to put his arms around my waist! I'm going to test tomorrow; I ordered tests from Sensitest, no idea if they're reliable, we'll see...

Ok, weird that she's a bit later or earlier is not abnormal but skipping a whole month seems pretty weird to me. I think indeed only tests can bring clarity and otherwise maybe go see a gynecologist (you always know more than me). Will you keep us updated?!?

Yeah, I’ve already thought about seeing a gynecologist... anyway, my GP can sometimes be really a hole. If you know what I mean.

Yeah, I’ll keep you posted! Thanks in advance for your sweet messages

Oh, I was so tense... my tests came in and I actually had to wait two more days, but I couldn't resist and tested around 12:30 PM, and there's a faint line...

ohh good Marieke can you upload your photo...

I'm unsure... is that good, a light line..??

Currently not at home, not enough signal to upload a photo. I'll post it tonight!

Sorry ladies, I can't post a photo; it says it's spam...

You can upload, it probably went wrong... I'll post an example. If you have this image, then at the bottom of the page click submit and NOT add photo...

Sore breasts on the sides, feeling hungry, and having contractions sounds familiar to me. I also had some Braxton Hicks contractions without bleeding. My sensitive ovulation tests showed almost positive for my pregnancy a few days before my expected period. That was my first clue. Maybe that's another idea? Hopefully, it's a go and your hCG rises quickly. Don't ask at the GP but expect it, get two blood tests so it's at least clear. Or indeed 'ask' for a referral to a gynecologist or call a midwife. Just in case, implantation bleeding could be on the 17th, combined with a false negative test, you'd already be weeks further along, so don't let them send you away! Good luck!

Nope, still can't do it, but it's okay. I just took a Clearblue test, I trust that one more.

Pregnant 2-3, that's what it says!!

    So happy
