I have a baby dilemma. I have a 3-year-old son from my previous relationship, and he has shared custody with his dad. Now I've been in a new relationship for a month, but I'd really like to have a second child. Is this a good idea right now? We're both ready for it, but we haven't been together that long...

    I understand your wish, but personally I'd definitely wait another half year. On the other hand, I do understand the age difference between the kids.

    When I first met my husband, we already knew pretty quickly that we wanted kids together.
    After just 2 weeks, we already got it on.
    A year after we met, we got married, and luckily that summer we finally got pregnant after about a year and a half.
    We’ve been together for 2 years and 2 months now, and I’m 7 months pregnant, but if it were up to us, we would’ve gotten pregnant much earlier. Sometimes nature just doesn’t cooperate, hehe.

    Hi,

    If it feels right, it feels right. I was only 8 months together with my boyfriend when I got pregnant. It doesn't always mean much how long you've known each other.

    I’d also wait a bit to see if the pink cloud stays pink for long. A month is really short.
    It would be really annoying if irritations develop, and there’s already a baby on the way.

    I've had a new boyfriend for a year now and unexpectedly pregnant, but very welcome.
