Tests keep coming up light.

Hi! After my miscarriage at 9 weeks, I haven't had a period yet. Now, 2 months later, I've had positive pregnancy tests at 2w5d. But the tests aren't getting darker. For the past 4 days, I've only had a very faint second line. (Tested with first morning urine) According to the gynecologist, I should assume it's an early miscarriage.. Is this always the case? Does anyone have experience with this?

    Could it be that it's still hCG from your miscarriage? Unfortunately, that can sometimes take a very long time to clear.

    Maybe a bit weird, but try testing with evening urine. I test more positive in the evening than with morning urine.

    I had negative tests after the miscarriage, so the HCG from the first pregnancy was already really gone. Since I wasn't getting my period, I already tried a test earlier... I've never heard that before, I'll try it tonight, thanks!
