boy's name to go with Guus

Hi!

I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant with our second son! Our eldest son is named Guus, and we just can't seem to find a new boy's name.

We really like names in the vein of Teun, Mees, and Bram, but they feel a bit too standard for Guus.

Does anyone have a nice idea?

Tijn is also the first name that comes to mind for me. And maybe Teun otherwise?

Ah, I see that Teun has already been mentioned.

Wow, so many names! Even though many are on our list but just not quite there.

I think Tijn and Ties are amazing, but my husband doesn’t like them unfortunately!

I also really like Joep and Loek. Do the UU and the OE sound good together in pronunciation if you’re calling both kids, for example?

I know a brother and sister who are called Guus and Loes. So oe and uu can work, I think.

Can the uu and the oe sound good together in pronunciation...
I kind of get your "point"... had to think about it for a bit..
I don't find it bothersome at all and it wouldn't be a reason for me not to do it.
Nice names! Guus and Joep/lLoek go well together!

    Good luck!

I find Joep cuter. You have to think of that Loek ad with the lion, Loekie haha. Sorry, it just popped into my head.

Can it also be two syllables? I think Guus and Pepijn or Silvijn are a nice combination.

Just something different for a moment.
