Ovulation and period in 1 week

Hi everyone.
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a while now. After two months, I started using ovulation tests. Last month, I found out that my ovulation was on January 29th. The test on January 28th was still negative. According to my cycle, I got my period again on February 3rd. That means there are only 6 days in between.
I'm wondering if the egg could still implant and whether getting pregnant is even possible at this point. Should I go to my GP?
Are there any people with similar experiences or who can give advice?
