Eva, Nila, Venna, or Vaye

Vlinder
Here I am again... I'm still hesitating too much. I like these names, but I have doubts about all of them. Eva is tough and strong, but so "ordinary" and you hear it a lot.
Nila is original, but I wonder if it's too childish and might come across as foreign.
Venna, I'd really like the V as the starting letter, but I'm wondering if it sounds good and if everyone will say Fenna.
Vaye looks nice, but there are a lot of rhymes and I'm again wondering if it flows well. Faye is spicier, but I really want that V.
What do you all think? Maybe I can come up with something.

    Vienna?

I think Fenna and Faye are super cute names, but I don't like Venna and Vaye so much. Nila sounds really cool and original to me. Eva is my favorite, even though you hear it a lot.

Thanks! Vienna doesn't really fit us.

I'm sticking with Venna! How long do you have to think about it?

Lucky, still 10 weeks left I need them.
Terrible, sometimes I think I'm over it and then again that little voice (isn't that one nicer?). It's forever! Some people are so sure... sigh..

Haha yes it is and remains tricky.. We've had the name set since 27 weeks...
And sometimes I also wonder if it's really nice and if the rest of the world will find it pretty.
But then a little later I think yes this is the name that appealed to me right away and still does so don't be so silly

But it remains difficult you can't change it once the little one is born haha !

Good to hear that even though you're sure about your name, you sometimes doubt it. May I ask what name you've chosen? It's anonymous here

I sent you a message! Because sometimes acquaintances of mine read this here haha

    Viva!

Viva is a fun magazine to read

    Vieve? It's a nice name with a v

    Good luck!

Or Veere! Veerle could also work.

Thanks, but I think I've seen all the names already, so no need for new suggestions.

My choice is Venna, good luck with choosing!
  15. Ellen #16

I think Eva is the cutest!

If you write Vaye like that, it looks like Vaaie and not Fee. I wouldn't do that anyway.

I also think Eva is a bit plain.
What I see as a downside of Vaye is that, if you pronounce it correctly, it sounds like 'Vee'. "What's your name? I'm Vee." On paper, I find the name prettier than when spoken, but well, a name is naturally spoken many more times than it's seen written down.

I really like Nila. Indeed, it's original and doesn't seem (too) foreign to me. I also don't think it sounds childish at all.
And then there's Venna, where I wonder if people will pronounce the V correctly. I think it'll quickly be pronounced as Fenna, I guess.

Vaye has since lost weight because I was also hanging out with that Vee. My first choice is now Venna, the pronunciation is indeed possible, but you also have that with Nila/Mila, which is my second choice. With Nila, I just don't see an adult woman in my mind, and the N sounds a bit harsh.

Nila stays beautiful. What do you think of Veda or Vita?
