A boy's name that works in both Dutch and English

My husband is American and we live in the Netherlands, so we need a boy's name that works in both Dutch and English.
What do you think of:
Wies
Penn
Thor?

Honestly, I think Wies sounds more like a girl's name.
Thor is my favorite name! But he might also get teased for it in Dutch (tor), and I think the same goes for Penn (pen).

Thanks for your opinion! I hope others find this helpful too!

Sorry, but I don’t think any of the three names are very nice for NL. With all of them, he could get teased. On the other hand, kids can always come up with something.. I don’t find Wies so nice for both languages, Penn is less appealing too, maybe with a different starting letter? Then Thor is the nicest, but in NL it still feels double to me.

Same as what's already been said: Wies is a girl's name, Penn doesn't do much for me (except that it makes me think of Sean Penn) and Thor is indeed quite sensitive to bullying.

From these names, I can't really tell what your taste is, which makes it hard for me to come up with suggestions myself.

Thor is a tough Norwegian god and as a first name in Norway it's very normal. I'd go with Thor. You also say t-hor and not tor.

Well, not exactly... I mean the name sounds a bit different from Tor.

Tricky, the names you mention work in American English but I'm afraid they might not be as popular in the Netherlands..
Here are some ideas, maybe you won't like them at all! :
Dean, Finn, Liam, Owen, Miles, Kai, Arlo, Duke, Dex, Scott, Dustin, Max, Bruce, Chris, Joah, Kian.
