Hi Vlinder, yeah, that lasts the whole pregnancy and even after you have your baby, that feeling pops up again. Hahaha, but it's not that bad, really. I think it actually shows that you're becoming a good mother. A bad mother wouldn't worry about it!

Love, Jessica

    Yeah, you're right!
I'm feeling a bit emotional haha...
    I'm scared of everything...
Even though I was so cheerful earlier today and stuff.
    How far along are you?

    Greetings

Haha, that happens to all of us. I'm the mom of a sweet 3-year-old boy and a 6-month-old daughter. Everything you're saying sounds so familiar to me :-) Especially for my first pregnancy, I had no idea what to expect, but everything really works out fine. It's actually almost all on autopilot, and for the rest, if you just take a little time to read up on things, it's not that difficult at all.

    Yeah, that’s true too.
    It’s going okay now, haha.

Nope, that’s also true—you never know what’s waiting for you.
Not even how people will react when you tell family and stuff.
And about the baby itself, but yeah, it’ll all work out...

That happens to everyone, I think. I sometimes feel insecure too. Stupid hormones

Yeah, indeed haha, I just ordered a pregnancy journal.
    Can't wait to see it!

    Hi,
I don't really belong on this forum, but I have a dilemma... My girlfriend and I decided to adopt a child. She got pregnant quite quickly, about 2 months ago. She really wanted to get pregnant, but now that she is, and she's feeling very nauseous, having contractions, and vomiting a lot (in the mornings), she often talks about wanting to terminate the pregnancy. I just don't know what to do... Does anyone have experience with this?

My sister-in-law also has a hard time with morning sickness during pregnancy. Because she was so nauseous during her previous pregnancy that she got dehydrated and had to be hospitalized, she's now under the care of an OB-GYN. If I were you, I'd suggest asking your friend for help from your midwife or GP and explaining the situation. Maybe some medication or dietary advice could provide some relief for your friend. Usually, the nausea decreases after three months, but not always. Try to keep in mind that you'll get something beautiful back for it soon.

    Hi,
Yeah, I did reach out to our GP who prescribed some meds for the nausea. But those thoughts don’t just go away. I know that pregnant women have hormones all over their bodies and can have weird mood swings... She’s going to see a psychologist today, so we’ll see how it goes.
    Thanks for your message!
