Hi ladies,
I'm experiencing something unusual. I stopped taking the pill in May 2015. It took 6 months for my period to become regular. Last month, I was supposed to get it around the 3rd, but I had a severe bladder infection and got it on the 8th instead. After that, I started getting period pain again on the 16th... so I thought I'd take a test. Turns out I had a positive ovulation test. I've had a positive ovulation test for a whole week now. Has anyone experienced this before? I don't know what to make of it... Thanks in advance! Best, Vanessa

Do you mean by "positive" that there's a faint line visible, or that it's actually as dark or darker than the control line?
Because I also always get a faint line, but during my ovulation it's much darker.
Ovulation tests can also show positive if you're pregnant.
So maybe do a pregnancy test. -

My test line is just as dark as my control line. I can't post the photo.

I couldn't wait and already took a test, but unfortunately it was negative. The ovulation test, on the other hand, was as dark as the control line... So we'll wait a bit longer before testing again.
