    Aah, that's a shame
  2. Betty #22

That sucks, girl. Good luck and hopefully you'll get pregnant soon!

Sorry, girl, but it's a sticky one

Yes, hopefully better next round. I've called my gynecologist, early miscarriage...
  5. * #25

Lyla, that's terrible. Maybe you'd like to come chat in NOD in February? You can meet other women there if you're interested

Still feeling sick, slept through yesterday. Brown blood this morning. I wanted to take medication, but my boyfriend said, "Definitely take another test, you wouldn't be the only one with a weird story." Well, I did one this morning and it was positive again. What should I think now???

You do have more hCG in your blood though, right? Maybe still do a blood test..
HCG doesn't show up in your blood right away if you're pregnant..
But anyway, since you've already had a blank test...
I think it's a good idea to call the doctor again...

    Love

Yeah, it's weird. It was negative and now suddenly it's positive again. I had to throw up at work yesterday, so I thought maybe it's a little flu or something. I don't understand anything. I'll call my gynecologist later. A miscarriage should turn negative sooner. Greetings.

And if not, test again in 2 days; the line should be darker then.

My doctor doesn't understand anything anymore. Next week's appointment

I wouldn't take those medications now, good that your friend had them tested...
    Maybe get a second opinion...

You haven't lost any blood yet, right? How can that doctor talk about an early miscarriage?
  13. Betty #33

    You're keeping it suspenseful, Lyla.

It's also pretty clear as a second line; I wouldn't take any more tests and just throw more at it Another brand that needs just as much hCG to rule out a false positive.

An ovulation test can also react to hCG.

But it's wise to test again the day after tomorrow, then it should be clearer.

    Keep us posted!

I’ve had some old brown blood loss, but not a lot :/ yeah, I’ll test again the day after tomorrow. Doubts are no good for anything, haha
  15. Beertje86 #35

Old brown bleeding doesn't necessarily mean a miscarriage. It could also be implantation. Or even the start of your period. The fact that you're still testing positive is, in my opinion, a positive sign! With an early miscarriage, the test should really be much lighter or even completely negative by now. I think the negative test result is more likely to be faulty.

As Bertha says, buy a different brand of test. The Action has cheap, reliable tests. Or the ones from Kruidvat, 2 for €5.

This is awful. Hopefully, you'll know more soon. What does your gut say?

Hi little bear, I took a test from Action and it was negative. Yeah, I also thought about implantation—could that happen later? Next Tuesday I’ll know more My body, I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my stomach and constipation, but I don’t know what to think.
  17. Beertje86 #37

Hmm, the test was negative. Which brand of test did you use to get a positive result?
  18. lyla started this #38

Hugene or something like that, a friend of mine used the same one when she was pregnant.
  19. Betty #39

You can have implantation bleeding around the day you’d normally get your period, but it can also happen a bit earlier.
Tuesday, phew, hang in there. I’m rooting for you!

Strange... If it were implantation, when would I be able to test positive with Clearblue? Annoying if you're irregular :s
