Hi there,

I'm really curious about what symptoms you've had or experienced in the early stages of your pregnancy.....

Best wishes,

Pregnancy symptoms: actually very few. Luckily no nausea (just a bit of a contractions-like feeling in my stomach but nothing else), sore breasts, weird stabbing sensations on the lower sides of my belly (round ligament pain?), and I'm emotional and short-tempered.

Does that match up well for you too?

Oh yeah, I've been getting regular headaches since Sunday, but I don't know if it's because of the pregnancy....

    Hi Vlinder

I've been throwing up my breakfast for 3 weeks now, but later in the day it's fine. Otherwise, I don't have much to complain about. Usually, I feel a tiny bit nauseous in the evening, but so far it's still manageable.

My breasts, especially my nipples, are a bit more sensitive but not painful.

Otherwise, things are actually going really well. I'm glad I don't feel held back from doing things. You do hear that someone stays at home for 9 months, but that's definitely not me.

    How are you doing?

    Hi Dani and Jeanet,

I don't have many complaints either, just some stomach issues, a bit of period-like symptoms, twinges and rumbling in my belly.
I also get hungry faster and feel a bit tired.
And a bit nauseous, but I only just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant, so I guess I need to let it sink in a bit haha.
I get headaches anyway, as I have my whole life.

When did you guys tell your parents and such?

    Greetings

I knew at 5 weeks that I was pregnant. I already have a 15-year-old daughter, and I told her 4 days later, and my parents 5 days later.
I just can't keep my mouth shut, even though I was/am afraid that maybe something will go wrong. At least then they'll know why I'm acting the way I am.

Congratulations, by the way!! I can totally imagine that it takes a moment to sink in!

I forgot about the fatigue and increased appetite—I’m also experiencing those.

    Hi ladies,

I don't have any severe symptoms at all, I'm just tired, tired and tired. And that's really new for me, because this little one will be our 4th. The other 3 pregnancies were full of nausea, back pain, and pregnancy diabetes.

What I do notice is that I'm growing like crazy, people are even asking if it's twins? I wouldn't know, next Thursday I have an ultrasound. So we'll see then.

    Greetings, Renate

Those are the nicer days in life :-) Isn't it lovely, like a pink cloud!

Well, I hope you can skip the nausea, even though it's not as bad as I feared.

We told our family pretty quickly. I think after about two weeks. At work, I'm waiting a bit longer until the ultrasound.

Jeanet, I'm a bit really scared of my mom's reaction
She's always making little digs at me, which I then take as her saying it's too early and we're too young (I'm 26).
I didn't think it would happen so fast.
I'm spiritual and stuff, and 3 mediums told me it could take a long time before I'd get pregnant, which is why I thought, well, we'll try slowly. And now I'm already pregnant after just 2 months. I had already stopped the pill 2 months prior because I had received a lot of antibiotics for my acne and a bladder/kidney infection.
Even putting my mom aside for a moment, I'm super happy about it!!

Renate, yes, I was already tired 2 weeks ago, pff, it's crazy!
I do have sore breasts and nipples, though a bit less than 3 days ago, which I always had when my period was due.
I recently bought the pregnancy vitamins from Davitamon Mamma, haha.
Can I start taking these now?
I do have to crush them because I can't swallow large tablets, and I read that you can crush these.
    Congratulations to everyone as well!!

Mooooo! And so much pain in my breasts/nipples......

Otherwise, few complaints, which means even more now

But well, it shouldn't ruin the fun... We can count down!

    Good luck with the complaints!

    Hi Lexy,

    Are you still really tired?
Yes indeed, you can start counting down already... Do you already know what it's going to be?
  12. Lexy #13

No way! It's not that bad! I've had high blood pressure since the beginning, with lots of symptoms! The medication is supposed to bring it down, but it's not really happening yet!
Plus, I have pelvic instability, for which I got a pelvic belt fitted and I'm doing physio! But despite the symptoms, I'm still trying to enjoy the little girl in my belly!

Oh, you're having a girl, how lovely!

Pff, it's pretty intense too, right? I've had low blood pressure for a while now.
Checked it at work this morning and it was 100/70, and last week it was 99/65.
Yes, you definitely have to enjoy it!!

    Hi Vlinder,

At first I was just so tired, I slept through the day, and besides that, I had sore breasts and nipples, just like Lexy. I'm still a bit tired now, but less than before.

It passes, and once we all have our little baby cloud in our arms, we'll forget that period of tiredness and other ailments, and move on to the next chapter...

Wishing you a lovely pregnancy, and talk soon.

    Love, Ju

    Congratulations, butterfly!
I was really tired, had sore breasts, and even now when I'm cold, my right breast really aches... Also felt nauseous during the first few weeks..
    xx

The first 3 months had painful breasts, I was very nauseous, sluggish and tired. I wasn't worth much. Those 3 months also went by me pretty quickly.
Since month 4 I feel really good! I do still take a nap during the day regularly.
I can also afford it happily with my work - I've been at home since the beginning of my pregnancy on maternity protection.

I'm mostly dealing with sore breasts, getting hungry faster, and being incredibly tired!!!!!!
