Fedde or Hidde

We're looking for a tough boy name. We both think Hidde and Fedde are lovely. The downside is that Fedde can easily be turned into a nasty insult (if the baby turns out a bit heavier/chubby). Fedde is a hip, modern name though. We also think Hidde is incredibly tough, but a bit old-fashioned. It also needs to fit nicely with our other kids: Syb, Ninthe, and Jurre. Which one fits best with them?

    They both fit really well with the other names. I have a slight preference for Fedde, but Hidde is also very beautiful.

    Personally, I'll change both of them.

    Hidde to Jidde
    Fedde to Ferre

    Both are lovely names! My nephew is called Fedde, you don't hear that much!

    I personally find Hidde nicer.
    But that's also because I know a Fedde that I don't like so much, hahaha

    I think both names are pretty okay. Maybe Fedde's sensitivity to bullying isn't that bad? It probably depends a lot on the child's personality, I guess. And bullies can always find something to tease them about anyway.

    I think Fedde sounds nicer. Ferre, by the way, too.
