Unfortunately, you can't feel when conception happens. Most pregnancy symptoms start just before your period or after it. Sometimes, the longing for a baby is so strong that our bodies play tricks on us, and we "think we feel" all sorts of things. Be careful with testing too early because your period hasn't arrived yet. If there's an issue with conception or cell division, you'll still get your period, and the disappointment from a positive test will be huge. Of course, the first weeks are very risky. My advice is to wait until after your period to test, no matter how hard that is. Love, congratulations, and I hope it's a "plakker" (a strong pregnancy). Good luck and enjoy it!

    Hey girls,

Yesterday I had such a busy workday. Yeah, I still don't feel my period coming and I'm 2 days away, so let's hope.

    Love,

  9. michaela #29

    definitely exciting girls!

no sign of it yet, nor the feeling that it's coming, so let's hope!!
  10. nicole 1979 #30

    Rooting for you.
  11. michaela #31

hey girls, still no period and no feeling that it's coming either.
I'm really nervous and my husband is too.
We have an urgent question: did you test with Clearblue? Digital, and what are your experiences? Should we use a regular test instead?
  12. s #32

The regular digital ones need a lot of hcg!! And the ones with the pregnancy indicator are much more sensitive. You can just try a test or go for a cheap one from Action first.
  13. michaela #33

Yeah, I was even thinking about that too—they’re only €1.49 for two. I’d feel bad buying such an expensive test if it turned out negative.

I think I’ll do that. By the way, do you happen to know if I can then test with the Clearblue that shows a plus sign? I think it’s 2 tests for €10?
  14. s #34

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not really a fan of plus tests, but that's just my choice. I first used one from Action and then the one with the pregnancy indicator from Clear Blue. The regular Clear Blue said I wasn't pregnant, but the one with the pregnancy indicator said 1-2 weeks!!
  15. michaela #35

Yeah, I read that more often. I also prefer not to have a plus sign now, because then you'll always start doubting.

But can I ask, how many days after your missed period did you test with the Clearblue indicator?
  16. Zahra Guest #36

3 days after taking Nod Clearbleu, 1-2 weeks pregnant.
  17. michaela #37

Okay, I'll wait a bit longer then. If it doesn't come tomorrow, I'll go to my second appointment, so I'm curious. Thanks for the tip!
  18. s #38

    2 days after I'm due.
  19. michaela #39

Hey girls! Today I'm going to test. There's no sign of my period yet, so I hope it's positive! I find it so exciting.

I think I'll get a Clearblue test and a cheap one from Kruidvat (2 for 5 euros).

I'm not sure what's best, but I don't want the Clearblue to show negative. That would be a shame.

So I think I'll buy it, but only if all the Kruidvat tests are positive.

By the way, I'm going to get the Clearblue Digital with pregnancy indication, which seems more sensitive and can test from 4 days before your expected period. So let's hope!!

Hi, oh wow, still so exciting!!
I had also tested with the Kruidvat ones earlier. Two for five euros. Great test!! And then I used the Clearblue with the digital indicator.
