That one was on our list too. We also like Roman names.
Just a heads-up: Iulius (with an I) is actually the family name of the Iulii (Julii) family, not a first name. Julius Caesar was actually called Gaius Iulius Caesar.

Gaius is a normal Roman name, but it sounds too much like "gajus" in Dutch, so I wouldn't go with that.


Other options: Quintus, Sextus, Cornelius, Marcus.

    Oh, and Marcellus (actually also a family name, not a first name), Claudius (also a family name, not a first name), and Tertius are there too.

    For Dutch people, Julius and Marcus are definitely the most common. The other names are a bit exotic.

    Julius?? I find it very old-fashioned and Catholic-sounding...
