Looking for a tough but also sweet girl's name. I don't like foreign names.

I think Keet is super! Really powerful and cool! Even though I find this name beautiful, I wouldn't choose it. I actually think it's quite bold! My daughter's girlfriend is named Keet, and this name always brings up "something"! People either love it or hate it. Those who don't like it make comments like Keet scheet, dikke reet, bouwkeet etc. Of course, not in the presence of the girl in question, but still, that would be a reason for me. I don't mean it in a bad way, but maybe you should consider it in your deliberations...

I also think Jula is really beautiful!

Keet: super cute name. If you don't want that rhyming thing that anonymous warned about, Kee might be a good option.
Jula: sounds fine, I find it a bit exotic. I think it's the most beautiful with the 'oe' sound in it. So Joela and not Juula in terms of pronunciation.
Sophie: classic. Better with an f. I hear it quite often, but it's a nice name.
    Femm: nice. Short but powerful.
    Zoë: a child's name. Not something for a 50-year-old.
    Tess: cheerful. A friendly name.
I'd go for Kee(t) or Femm.

I really like Jula (but pronounced with a 'u' sound). The other names are a bit too much 'top 10'. They're nice too, but just a bit less special. :-)

Keet: I don't find it that pretty. I like Kaat better.
Jula: Super beautiful name! Pronounced with a long "u"
Sophie: It's in the top 10, but it's a super beautiful name
Femm: Hip, but I find Femke prettier
Zoë: Nice meaning, but not my taste
Tess: Pretty, but Tessa is prettier

I’m going with Jula, because this name is less common than Fem(m), Sophie, and Zoë or Tess.

By the way, Zoë is an English name, not a Dutch one.

I don’t like Keet so much because it reminds me of “keten” (chain) or “bouwkeet” (construction shed). Kaat is a better alternative, like Kaat (=short for Catharina). I’m not sure if Keet is actually a Dutch name or just a “Dutchified” version of Kate.
