friend is taking paroxetine

My boyfriend is taking paroxetine (an antidepressant). We’d like to have a baby. Does anyone have experience with this? I’m worried about birth defects or miscarriages.

Maybe it's a good idea to contact a doctor. I noticed in the leaflet that men can become less fertile due to this medication.
