Boy's name

We're expecting a second son. We've already considered a lot of names (Milan, Vincent, Tycho, etc.). Now I've come up with the name Dayan. I thought of it because one grandfather is named Daniel and the other is named Jan. Both grandfathers keep suggesting their own names whenever we ask for ideas, so they'd probably feel honored We think it's nice to kind of 'name' him after the grandfathers, but I'm still wondering if it's really beautiful enough..

What do you think?

not bad. Daian is definitely a nicer spelling. All those Y's are getting on my nerves.

Nice! Original and a lovely naming, but it sounds normal

That's nice! As for Y, it's pretty hip these days unfortunately, but I don't think you should let that influence you too much. Y is a high vibration and a pure letter, though that might not mean much to most people—I know this from numerology.

You could try some variations. I actually think Danian is really nice. That way you can pronounce both names quite clearly.
