Nice chat
Tomorrow it starts!
Yes, indeed, tomorrow it starts: the renovation of the garage into an extra room/space.
We had already agreed on this before I was pregnant. 2/3 of the garage will become a space for the kids' toys, the computer, but also a storage spot for the ironing board and vacuum cleaner. 1/3 of the garage will remain for the bikes etc. (luckily we have a carport for the car!).
So tomorrow they'll start milling in the underfloor heating and can put a screed layer over it. Then build up the inner wall panels of aerated concrete. Finally, put the tarp on the floor and a system cabinet for the toys.
After that, all the toys that are currently on the floor can go back down into the cabinet. The loft can be prepared for our son and the current room of my son will be restored as a baby room.
A decent DIY project, but that should be doable, right, by December 3rd
.
Are there any other people here who are renovating just like us?
Best, Gerda
