I'd really wait another week, otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy. Or just get a blood test—you'll know right away.

Yes Jessie, I think that’s indeed the best option, but whether I can do it, haha.
No worries, it’ll just work out.
For some reason, I don’t expect any more bleeding this cycle, or I’d suddenly start getting symptoms.
    I’ll keep you posted!
    And thanks for your responses!

And it doesn't sound nice, but with a chemical pregnancy there's a risk that you miscarry a very early, non-viable embryo, right?

Did your period miss? Because that line should have been thicker now, a few days after your expected period. And do you still have an elevated temperature?

And a slightly nicer message: if your period still doesn't show up, I'll give you good news and you're simply pregnant!

    Hi Pregnancy!
I took the last test last Sunday (=1 day overdue).
After that, I didn't test anymore..
And no, my period isn't coming (yet); normally I get a "period headache" about 3-4 days before, and I haven't had that yet.
I do get occasional little twinges in my lower belly (as I mentioned before), and a feeling like there are air bubbles in my tummy too, but no gas haha.
And yes, I know that miscarriages (definitely) happen BEFORE your due date, it's actually silly to test so early?
Well, it was mostly because of the discharge I had a week before my due date, otherwise I wouldn't have paid attention to it

    Tested this morning, negative
I'm afraid that discharge (1 week before my period) was actually an implantation bleed after all..

Thanks for keeping an eye out, on to the next round.

    Love x

    Oh, that's so sad..

Still, I see on those first tests of yours a faint line.

Did you happen to use Pregnyl? What could explain it?

Wishing you lots of luck next round.

    Hi Marlies and Pregnancy,

Yeah, it's all a bit weird. I did one of those extra sensitive tests today, and there's again a very faint line (and I assume such tests only detect hCG?

I've also had kind of popping/air bubble sensations in my lower belly since last week.. and since today my breasts have become more sensitive, especially when walking or when I touch them.
I really don't understand anything anymore, if I had really gotten pregnant then it would have been different..

And no, I haven't used Pregnyl..

I couldn't get her to pose well for the photo, but I did make it a bit darker.
  10. zwangerschap #30

    And put him in normally?

The fact that you're avoiding sex and have sore breasts sounds pretty positive to me.

You can hear your belly rumbling, you know.

You could also be one of those unlucky ones who gets a positive test late.

    I'm still seeing faint lines.
  11. Anonymous Guest #31

Where should the line be if I may ask? Closer or a bit further?
  12. zwangerschap #32

Well, that’s a whole new line of thought.

    I think you’re just pregnant.
  13. jessie95 #33

I really don't see any line anywhere
  14. gabrielle started this #34

I did this test yesterday. I’d heard that the line is easier to see if you put a ring on it, for example, before taking the photo.
  15. jessie95 #35

Sorry, really no line. I don't think you're pregnant.
Focus on Christmas now, and maybe you'll get a positive test in January. xxxxxx

Oh, I'm not in a hurry, Jessie95. I'm trying not to think about it too much, but it would be clearer if I got my period (I assume you'd do the same).
  17. Nancy Guest #37

I do see a faint line. I'd definitely avoid having a glass of wine or anything like that this Christmas.
That ring just casts a dark shadow over your test area.
You should take a photo without the ring on.

Thanks for your reply, Nancy. The photo is really blurry, but I can see it more clearly on my phone

I’d go to the doctor after and get a blood test, haha, but I’m really happy for you
