I personally think Jaida is more beautiful.

I think Esmé is a really beautiful name, but only if it's spelled Esmee or Esmée. Jayda sounds tough too, but I like it less.

    Esmée with an extra e.

Sorry, but I think the name Jayda sounds more like a boy's name. Terrible for a girl. No, definitely Esme, very nice, cheerful, and feminine.
Sorry if it came across harshly.
    Just sharing my opinion.
I respect everyone's choice of name
    Greetings, Madelene

    Esmee
    Jayda (jaydie)

I voted for Esmé. I do think the double e looks nicer.

I'm getting a bit tired of all the 'jay' names. I also think Esmé works for multiple ages. I can't really picture a 65+ year old Jayda. But yeah. Times change, so maybe that image will change in 20 years.

Thank you all so much for your opinions! I really appreciate it, hihi
I'm now 20 weeks pregnant and still haven't fully decided... I personally lean more towards Esmee.
Do you have any other tough-sounding girl names?
    Love, Melissa

If you're really looking for something tough-sounding, I think Jade sounds tough pronounced in English, or Jane also pronounced in English.
    Martijntje. psscale kris.
    Fabienne.
Nikki. scharon. Maybe these are ideas for you and you find one nice among them?
These are what I consider tough names for a girl.
I personally don't like tough girl names
And I'm actually looking more for soft girl names
