How did you find out about the pregnancy?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering how you all found out you were pregnant. Did it really come down to the symptoms, or was there something else that tipped you off?

I'm really curious!
Best, Elletje

With my first daughter, I realized I was late. I’m very regular, so I took a pregnancy test and it showed I was pregnant.
With my second daughter, I already had clear signs four days before I was late that I was pregnant.
My daughter let me know early on that she was in there.
I got terrible hunger right after eating something. And dizzy in the morning.
I immediately recognized from that that I was pregnant. I didn’t really need a test.
The first test, 1 day late, was negative.
While my body was already clearly telling me, you’re pregnant.
Then I took another pregnancy test that same day and sure enough, it confirmed what I already knew. Immediately two clear dark thick red lines.
With number 3, which I’m currently expecting, it went a bit like with my first daughter. I noticed nothing that I was pregnant. Didn’t feel pregnant either. Just thought I was getting my period until I realized I was late. And on the fourth day late, I took a test and sure enough, within a minute, two thick blue lines. Pregnant. So that’s how I found out with all three, in a different way each time.
    Greetings, Madelene

With my first period, I had tense, sensitive breasts.
    Afterwards, I took a test.

And now I was unsure, and because of the test, I felt everything—tired, stomach ache, long cycles. Eventually, I just took another test because I didn’t believe it.
Tested again the next day and yes, there it was.

The first one via a test at the GP...
The second one via a test at the GP..
    The third test at home

I got a craving for breakfast. Which I never really get. Cramps at the bottom of my belly (which are still there unfortunately) but the test won't give real certainty yet.

I had really sensitive breasts, so I thought it was wise to take a test...
Especially because I was still smoking and drinking alcohol, so it was important to know...
And I was right. I was then 5 or 6 weeks pregnant.
I took 3 tests over 2 days to be sure and then also had blood drawn by the GP.
    Everything positive.

We were in the car and apparently I reacted quite strongly to something my boyfriend said. So his response was: "You need to get your rules, right?" And then a little light started going off in my head that I indeed hadn't had those in a while. I took one test and it was positive. In a moment of disbelief, I went to get a second one, and I turned out to be 3 weeks pregnant. Three years later, we have a precious daughter.

I was 6 days late, but I had been late the previous month too, so I didn’t think much of it.
On the 6th day of being late, I took a pregnancy test just to be sure, since I had an MRI scan scheduled the next day. Well... I can tell you that I could cancel the MRI appointment, and luckily for a good and pleasant reason!

Sore breasts, tired, and then a positive pregnancy test.

With the first, I had to pee a lot and dreamed I was pregnant.
With the second, I dreamed again that I was giving birth at home to a boy, for two nights in a row, so I took a test. My cycle was just getting back on track while I was still breastfeeding, so I had no idea when my period would start.

Nausea; extra sensitive to smells right before your period, sore breasts, a clump of clear discharge, mood swings, and then a positive test.

With baby #1, we found out a bit later. I had plenty of symptoms (breasts grew, nausea, tiredness) but was so busy that I never really stopped to think about it. Until I got such sensitive nipples, then I found out I was already 12 weeks pregnant.

With the second one, I had a nightmare... I only dream that vividly when I'm pregnant... that was at 3 weeks.

With the third one, it was digestive issues, fatigue, and growing breasts that gave it away. At the time of the test, we were 5 weeks along.

My cycle is extremely irregular, so it doesn't stand out if I'm not on my period for a while????

I had been dealing with nausea and stuff for 2.5 weeks.
I decided to wait until my period would come.
After being 1 day late, I took a test and it turned out positive since Friday

Hi! I tested positive on Friday, Jan 24. My last period started on Dec 30. I had a hunch 2 days before the test—I was in bed and suddenly got a tingling feeling in my nipples. It reminded me of the let-down reflex from breastfeeding. I'm already a mom of 2 kids, so it felt familiar. The test was positive, and that was actually the first sign I noticed. With my second pregnancy, I suspected it when I drove over a speed bump and felt like something was in my lower belly. Now I have really sore, swollen breasts, and I've had two waves of nausea.

Tomorrow I'll do a Clear Blue test with the weeks indicator. According to online calculators, I'm currently 3-4 weeks pregnant.
