Hi!

I'm curious what your baby would have been called if it had been the other gender!

We have a little boy and named him Deyviano.
If he had been a girl, she would have been called Kelsey-Jane.

Why? Because we think Kelsey is such a beautiful name, and Jane is my partner's mom's name

I'm curious what names you've chosen and why

Daniël. Because it's a beautiful classic name and everyone knows how to spell it.

If our son had been a girl, she would have been called Julliette

Because we both find it a beautiful name

I have 2 treasures of girls
And now again expecting a princess
But if it had been a boy I would have named him Remi, sweet and yet short and powerful

Secret, who knows, this might be a girl. Still not confirmed from last time

If our baby had been a boy, it would have been Jules Antonie. Jules because we think it's a beautiful name. Antonie after my dad and my father-in-law.

That's nice, Linda. My dad is called Jules

    Coincidence!

    Yes, indeed, what a coincidence

My daughter was going to be called Martin, after my father Marc Martin and Grandma Martina.

Our oldest daughter Marie was named after Gijs.
Our middle daughter Feike was also named after Gijs.
Our youngest son Gijs was named after Zus. Zus is actually Feike's middle name. So all the names have been used. We love old-fashioned names and naming after relatives, but not too stuffy. Zus was an exception to that rule...
    My children's full names are:
    Marie Hanna Sofie
    Feike Zus Madelief
    Gijs Tommie Julian

The first names were made up by us, the rest are family names, with the exception of Zus.

Beautiful Emme! We're also going to name after someone.
Jolie (self-invented) J....aantje (after my grandma) A...mélie (after my partner's grandma).

By the way, if you write your children's names in full here, Google brings you straight to this forum. I wasn't aware of that, so I thought: I'll just let you know! That's why I'm putting dots in between now .

My daughter was also supposed to be named Daniël.
We're not sure yet what's coming, but Daniël won't be the name this time if it's a boy.
As for a girl, I don't have anything in mind at all yet...

If it had been a girl in 2010, the names would have been:
    Alyssa
    Vera
    Fay

    On the list
  15. madelene #16

    Beautiful name Alyssa

Haha thanks Madelene. But now it's going to be a different girl's name

I'm thinking Bram Alexander. We don't know the gender yet, but Bram is kind of a bit of a stretch..

If our boy had been a girl, it would have been Noa. Who knows, maybe we'll name our second child that if we ever get to have another one.

If our daughter had been a boy, she would have been called Diego Elian! she is Vita Jada.
If our son had been a girl, he would have been called Sarita Mayte! he is Lío Raúl.
