I'm looking at the lines, I'm on day 18 now, I've been testing since day 7, couldn't really make out a clear line but I do get the impression that the lines are becoming lighter than last week. Is that possible, even though I haven't gotten a smiley??? Just circles

The CB test gives a smile, and then you'll ovulate within 24-36 hours. So if the CB shows a smile, you don't need to read the lines; otherwise, it's better to use dipsticks... Good luck with getting pregnant!

Anonymous Miss, the test isn't positive yet. The test line and the control line should be equally dark. So yes, can you upload the photos of the tests so the others and I can take a look at your tests?

Mavanmi, do the dashes really work like a regular dipstick or not?

According to Clearblue themselves, it's important whether you can actually see two lines after the test.
I've had enough experience with that myself, so let's leave it at that. Otherwise, just call their customer service.
They can explain everything to you very well.
    Good luck!

Customer service is also a good idea.

But my experience is that I first use dipsticks and then they give me a CB and then I did have a Smile.

But it can be different for everyone.

Sony, I never really paid attention to that... I just got a smile and that was it; I didn't go looking extra hard for lines on the CB test.

I don't really do that either, just wanted to know. Been seeing an empty circle for 2 weeks straight, longing for that smiling smiley!

But dear Sony, maybe you should check with dipsticks first, and if that's positive, you could do a CB test. I hope that helps. When exactly are you testing?
  9. Sony #10

I test first thing in the morning right after waking up, as it says in the leaflet.

Okay, that's fine then... But didn't you also get an early scan? I hope you get your smile soon

Hey yeah, I did have an early miscarriage, which is why I was interested in this topic. I'm now on day 21 and sometimes don't know what to do with myself, hoping every day for that smile but then sometimes thinking in my head that no ovulation is happening, etc... We're trying to keep at it every two days and sometimes even more, that's what's most important.

Yeah, indeed, it’s not exactly cheap either (also a reason why I’m eager to see that smile ).
I started testing on day 7 to make sure I don’t miss it.
Oh yeah, it might be interesting to switch over and keep the digital one just in case of doubt.
Thanks, hope to see that cute smile soon

Pfff yeah, wow... 14 days already...
But anyway, you can basically skip the CB a bit once you get a positive test on the sticks, then do a CB test.
Anyway, I hope for you soon a

Yes, indeed, already 14 days , I had an early miscarriage after a few days, my hcg level wasn't very high anyway, I heard that your body needs to recover from this, but I thought it would only take a few days. Last month, when I was pregnant, I had a positive test on day 11. Do you understand? I'm asking myself, should I keep testing, should I wait for my period instead, will I ovulate this month? Maybe I'll get some cheaper test strips, that way I'll save a bit of money.

Honestly, I think the last one is Sony because I feel like you don't get any peace of mind until you find the smiley or a positive ovulation stick test, but I'm not sure...

I hope you get an ovulation, but they also say your body needs to recover, but yeah, you also read success stories like Suuske's, who had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and a few days, and she's pregnant now, so anything is possible...

But if you want to be sure, you can ask for a gynecological exam to see how your follicles and lining are doing, so yeah, I hope that helps you. Love
