Pregnant or not

Hi,

I took a pregnancy test last week and got a faint line. Normally, I should have gotten my period last week, but I only started bleeding yesterday. I’d like to know if it’s implantation bleeding or not? I used both the Action and Kruidvat tests. Tonight, I’m going to see my GP for a blood test.

If you were positive last week, implantation would be quite late... Unfortunately, it could also mean that the pregnancy didn't stick. A bleed can also mean nothing. So it'll be a bit of an uncertain time until you get clarity with an ultrasound. Maybe test again and see if it stays positive.

I called the doctor and she said my hCG was at 9. Normally it should be 0. Weird? And if I were pregnant, it should be 25. I have to wait until next week. But since I'm having my period now, there's a chance of a miscarriage.

If I see you like this, you're clearly pregnant.
You don't need to put on glasses to see the lines

Madelene, that test was from last week, so yes, she was pregnant. But after that, she went to the GP, and it turned out her hCG levels were too low. After some bleeding, she’s now had her period again, as you can read. It looks like the miscarriage was inevitable.. Strength to you, girl!

Oh okay, sorry, probably read too quickly.
Wishing you lots of strength with processing this

Yeah, I'm not sure either.. But reading it like this, now that you're having your period, it seems to me that the chance is higher that it's a miscarriage.. I don't want to get anyone excited just in case, because then the disappointment later will only be even bigger. I hope it's okay after all and it's just a very long implantation bleeding..but I'd say prepare for the worst. Good luck

Thanks! I don’t think it’s implantation bleeding because it’s a lot and red.

Actually, I want to go to the ER to find out more. I’ve got a lot of questions right now... I already had a miscarriage at 17 weeks.

Oh that's terrible for you, girl! Wishing you lots of strength and really hoping things will work out for you eventually! If this is indeed your 2nd miscarriage, maybe get some deeper investigation done to find out what could be causing it? Wishing you strength again!
