I'm pregnant and feeling unhappy. I wonder who else is going through this and can share with me.

I'm not pregnant and not unhappy either. So I can't share that with you, but why are you so unhappy if I may ask?

How long are you pregnant? If you start feeling depressed/unhappy, give a shout!

Go to your GP and ask about a possible referral to a POP clinic nearby. It's specifically for pregnant women with these kinds of feelings, medication use, or just special support.

It's not weird, it happens more often than people admit, but nobody talks about it

But please don't keep it to yourself for too long and go see your GP for yourself and your little one.

Well, everyone feels unhappy sometimes, right? And it's well known that pregnant women especially struggle with mood swings, or rather hormones. I can go from super happy to an emotional crybaby too.. Haha. Luckily, my partner takes into account that it's due to my pregnancy hormones.. I don't know how unhappy you feel. Maybe you should clarify for yourself what thoughts are causing that unhappiness, and to what extent you're feeling unhappy. If you're more unhappy than happy, I'd suggest talking to someone.

It's true that every person feels unhappy sometimes... but I have experience with it due to medication and pregnancy, which is why I suggest she shouldn't wait too long if it's indeed a hormonal episode hihi

She'll probably know best herself... I waited too long and after getting help, I could say after a while that I felt stable again.

A happy mom means a happy baby... it brings a lot of stress, so try to avoid that and don't try to find or come up with solutions yourself; leave that to the specialists

Angie has a point. Hormones can cause mood swings, but if it really gets heavy, you shouldn't wait. I understand you're choosing to handle it this way, but make sure to take good care of yourself. A quick call to your GP or midwife is often the best first step. Sometimes it just helps to bring someone else in.
