Haha how coincidental! Buttercup lives almost next to us too, haha!
  4. boterbloempje16 #5

Haha yes indeed Jessie! I also always went to high school in Eindhoven and stuff. What a coincidence haha

I was sitting on the weredi haha
  6. boterbloempje16 #7

Oh really? Yes, I'm at Sint Joris. But almost everyone from my primary school also went to Wereldhuis haha

    Funny, haha,

Have you had an ultrasound yet?
And why don't you add your pregnancy to your profile?
Then it'll show under your photo how many weeks pregnant you are, just like it does for me.

    Yeah, really coincidental!

No, tomorrow. I am quite nervous though. I'm really such a worrier, so I'm always afraid something might go wrong. Oh yeah, I'll try it out, didn't know you could do that haha, I'm still new here.

I'm so curious hihi how far along are you? 8 weeks, right?
  10. boterbloempje16 #11

Yes, 8 weeks! Really feeling the nerves. Luckily, I’ve got the ultrasound tomorrow morning, otherwise I’d be stressing all day again, haha. Around 12 weeks we want to make it official, haha. Can’t wait to see all the reactions. I guess they’ll be shocked ones, but whatever!

Have you already told your parents and in-laws?
  12. boterbloempje16 #13

Yeah, they know! My brothers do too, and my boyfriend’s sister, who happens to be pregnant too (11 weeks), and my best friends. Only my boyfriend’s dad doesn’t know yet, but I’m going to tell him tomorrow—I don’t see him that often.

Haha, I don't know if you'll like it that you're pregnant at the same time as your sister-in-law. It might be nice for you sometimes, but I'll bet your mother-in-law will probably be more involved with your sister-in-law.
My sister-in-law just gave birth, and her sister—so my other sister-in-law—was only focused on her. So now, luckily, my husband has a different mother than them, so I have her full support and attention, and of course, my mom's too.

Luckily, I have a super good relationship with my mother-in-law, which helps a lot. I practically live with them now, so I see her even more than her own daughter does. But of course, I still have my own mom. I'm really happy with her as a mother-in-law, and she's just as happy with us. She also gives us little gifts, just like she does for her own daughter. She really wanted to get the stroller for my sister-in-law, and now she wants to do it for us too, which is really sweet of her.

Oh, you have such a lovely mother-in-law too, haha! My husband has 2 brothers from the same mother but different fathers, and 2 sisters from the same father but different mothers, haha. So my mother-in-law is absolutely thrilled that her second son is having a baby—her first granddaughter! She already has a grandson from her first son.

My husband's dad is getting his 5th granddaughter, haha!
  16. boterbloempje16 #17

Oh wow, that sounds pretty complicated haha. I’ve got my ultrasound in 25 minutes and I’m super nervous.
  17. jessie95 started this #18

    Me too hihi
  18. boterbloempje16 #19

Did you have an ultrasound today too?

Haha no, I was nervous for you hehe. Do you have a picture of your ultrasound?
