    Nyo looks like American R&B singer Ne-Yo. Then I think Ne-Yo is also nicer written. And I find the name so unique and specifically tied to the singer that for me it's like calling your daughter Beyoncé with a different spelling. And yes, there's also a rapper named Dex, but that sounds more normal.

    Naming your child after a singer or singer-songwriter isn't weird, that's what my niece says (Jennifer Lopez).
    I think Nyo is really nice, but Dex sounds so cute to me.

    Whether it's weird or not depends on the person you ask. Many people will find it tacky.

    Exactly, Hummel. Everyone will have their own opinion on it, whether they think it's pretty or not. I think the most important thing is what the parents find most beautiful, not what someone else thinks.

    We've had a Nyo for a few years now and thought we were being original. Meanwhile, the name is popping up more and more, and I already know 5 others!
