When to take a pregnancy test if you're on the pill?

Does anyone know when is the best time to take a pregnancy test if you're on the pill? I'm already more than a week late and usually have a regular cycle. I'm also experiencing some symptoms. Thanks in advance for your replies!

Just try again, otherwise wait a week and test again. When did you stop the pill, and did you get a withdrawal bleed last time? Now your body has to do it on its own.

No, I actually don't want to get pregnant haha. That's why I'm on the pill... but I usually have a regular cycle and now I'm just over a week late! Last time I just got my period.
On October 24th I finished the previous pack. I was supposed to get my period on Wednesday, October 28th, so I didn't. And on Sunday, November 1st, I just started the new pack anyway.

Oh, so sorry, I misread it. I'd say wait until Monday or something.
    Then take a test?

Clear Blue clearly shows whether you're pregnant or not.

Stop with the strip again and see what your body does. Good luck!

Thanks, but I really think Clearblue is too expensive for a pregnancy test! I read somewhere that Action has super cheap pregnancy tests. Anyone have experience with these tests? At least they're reliable, right?

I find it quite a hassle with dashes, but I can definitely do it. Kruidvat or Action.

Hi, I have a question. I'm on the pill and have had diarrhea regularly when I took the pill an hour before. And had unprotected sex. But I've read and heard that you often still get your period from the pill even if you're pregnant. So they say you should take a test on the day you'd normally get your period, but doesn't the pill actually cause fake bleeding? So what if I just get my period? Shouldn't I test after that instead? Greetings

You can always test after your period. If you were pregnant, you'd definitely have enough hormones by then. But if you've had your period during the pill-free week, you can assume you're not pregnant.
