We're looking for a nice, fitting 2nd name for our 1st choice; Remy.. Do you have any suggestions ?
Do you guys think Remi sounds nicer by the way ?
Hesitating, hesitating, hesitating….

Is it twins? Girl and boy or two boys?

No, sorry! It's really meant as a second name. It's about 1 baby

Ah okay, we just added Peter and Meter. But then I don't really know what would fit, it's quite a difficult name to put something after.

I'd go with Remi anyway... I think it's nicer than Remy.

I think Remi flows a bit better..
And what do you consider important in a middle name.... Do you want something with a beautiful meaning? A namesake? A specific starting letter

Remi makes me think of "alone in the world."
    2nd names;
Elias Elijah Lukas Tobias Matthias Mathijs Merlijn Benjamin Olivier Timon Jens Sebastiaan Tijmen Gideon Alexander Niels Florian Constantijn Silvijn Friso Floris Christiaan.
As you can see, lots of long names.

If that interests you, you could maybe go by meaning.
Remi / Remy can have two meanings (I know this because I considered this name too):
    Rower or helper
(so at least someone who helps others move forward).

Above are e.g. a few names that might fit that:
Mathias: gift from God (so you get 'helper sent by God'
Jens: God is gracious (which fits with helper)
Alexander: protector of people (in the same vein)

Or emphasize a different quality. You already have helpful. Maybe think about what else you want for your child. A name can also contain a wish, think of names like Brecht (glorious), Hugo (mindful), Karel (male, free), Jorrit (strong), Koen (brave)...

Personally, I'd go for Remi. Names ending in -y always remind me a bit of girls' names (like Kimberley, Peggy...) but that's just my opinion. Remi/Remy is a Latin name. You can choose to keep everything in one language or not.

Maybe also look at grandfathers, idols... a middle name looks nice but here you can also give a message to your child without them having to hear it all day. My daughter has the first name of my late mother as her middle name.

    Lowie, Manu, ...

And I think Remi is more beautiful! =)

What's the reason for having a second name? And why not use a name from parents, grandmas, grandpas...
