We're looking for a nice, fitting second name to go with our first choice; Remy.. Do you have any suggestions?
Do you think Remi sounds nicer, by the way?
Doubt, doubt, doubt….

I think Remi is more beautiful and makes more sense. I really love the name! Good choice! I like a lot of names with Remi, here are a few ideas: David, Joshua, Sverre, Manuel, Sander, Noah, Noël.... (All two-syllable names )

    Remi Martijn
    Remi Martin
    Remi Marijn
    Remi Alexander
    Remi Jonas

    Remi

Do you mean a second name or a matching name for Remi?

Remi Martin just doesn't work, that's champagne .
I think Remi is nicer than Remy. What direction are you thinking for the middle name? So many possibilities!

Soeps. I don't know that champagne, so no Martin
  6. Linda #7

You'd write it as Rémy, but it still sounds similar, haha! Unless you're really into champagne! There are even kids named Chardonnay!

Remy Martin isn't champagne, but a well-known good cognac.. Since it's a pretty famous cognac, I find that combo quite funny haha. Remi with an i reminds me of "Home Alone". I think Remy sounds much cooler/more modern. And yeah, a name is very personal; I could give you 1000 name suggestions here, but I think you should listen to your gut feeling and figure out what you think is a nice 2nd name yourselves. Maybe the dad already has something in mind? Anyway, good luck!

Oh right, cognac of course! I worked in hospitality during my student days, I should know better!

I'll throw in a few more combinations:

    Remi Sébastien
    Remi Sebastiaan
    Remi Laurent
    Remi Merijn
    Remi Julien

A bit of French combinations, but I think they fit nicely.

Indeed, the combination with Alexander sounds really nice. (Of course, if it fits with the last name.)

Thanks for the replies! I'm still not sure haha, but I don't think it'll be Martin.. ;-)

Which names are you unsure about?

What a tough decision. But good that you've already ruled out Martin. I can't see the list, but Remy Alexander does sound quite strong. What other options are you still considering?
