faint line on the pregnancy test

Hi ladies,

I've been trying to get pregnant with my boyfriend for 8 months now. The first few months were really nerve-wracking, and I was so disappointed if I wasn't pregnant. Especially because I thought I had symptoms.

After a while, it wasn't such a surprise anymore when I wasn't pregnant. This month, though, I really have convincing pregnancy signs. Like 5 or 6 days ago, I suddenly got light pink bleeding. Even though I'm not supposed to get my period until today. I immediately thought of implantation bleeding. Also, I have a different kind of cramping in my stomach. These were much stronger than usual.

So today, since I didn't get my period, I took a test. After 8 minutes, I looked... and saw a very faint line.

That means you're pregnant, right? It's really faint... I'm so nervous, and I thought sharing it might make it better.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Best, Tamara

Morgen weer testen met dezelfde soort test. Wordt de test duidelijker en eerder een 2e streep, dan weet je het zeker!
Zou super zijn he, wij waren ook zo'n 9 mnd bezig en oh wat ben je dan blij!

Yeah, it was just an online test. So I'll pick up the last one tomorrow at the pharmacy. Digital, I think... They just say pregnant or not.

Exciting... I didn't do this other test with morning urine either. So Saturday morning I'll try again!

    Thanks for the advice, Betha.

I'd head to Action. 2 tests for 1.49. The digital ones are really expensive. If you see a faint line, your hCG is still a bit low; digital tests need a bit more hCG to register. So it's possible they won't say you're pregnant even if you are.

My experience is that a line is a line, no matter how faint!

Congratulations, girl!! I'm rooting for you that everything goes well!

Pay attention to whether they react to the same hcg levels, otherwise you won't know anything yet.
Maybe tomorrow and the day after from Action or Kruidvat, then you'll have 2x the same test.
Good luck! Hopefully it's a hit!

No Cutiex, this isn't a pregnancy line. Your urine didn't dry properly, maybe you used too much urine..?
  11. Cutiex #12

    no, quite the opposite....
    another disappointment

The line isn't in the right place. Do you have another one? Then you can test again tomorrow morning.

Your test was a while ago. Haven't gotten your period yet?

Cuntiex, did you check within the recommended time? Since I also had a very faint line, I started looking for info about it. If you wait too long, you might get a vague line. This is due to the evaporation of the line.

I hope it turns out positive for you.

I still haven't gotten my period... and unfortunately, I don't have a test lying around anymore. I'll have to get one first.

Maybe you're just producing too little pregnancy hormone, that's possible too. My friend only got a positive result on her third test when she was pregnant... she was already 1.5 weeks late by then. Just try again. And if it really takes a long time before you get your period, you can also get a blood test at the doctor's. Then you'll know for sure.

    Good luck, girl.

Then I'd really have to go to the store for a new test!

Yesss, I’m getting a new test this afternoon!
I’ve already had blood tests because I haven’t had my period since July 13th. Then I had an ultrasound, everything was fine, and I had to get blood tests for everything, which also came back fine. So I still haven’t gotten my period

Did you just stop the pill or something? Glad all the results were good.
