So weird, my first post disappeared spontaneously, so here it is again.

Do you think these go well together or is it too much of a mix?

Liva and Nina

Ahhhhh, I thought (you phrased your previous question differently...) that you were asking this

do jut and jul go well together?

So I thought you were trolling us and indeed deleted your message. That's why I (everyone) also recommend registering first. That way you won't get these misunderstandings :-)

I get it! Maybe not the most handy topic title I chose ;-)

Liva and Nina look similar to me, but not too much.
Still looks nice though? Anyway, nice names!

    Just went

I like Liv and Nina better.
  6. Irma 1987 #7

    I like it!
    Is your daughter named Liva?

Or maybe Luna? I think that looks nice too.
  7. Anonymous Guest #8

My daughter is named Nina, and we think Liva is a really nice name, but it sounds so similar that I'm afraid people will hear the same name, you know.

Liv feels unfinished to me, but I agree it would fit better. We just don't like the name that much.

Luna is beautiful, but her cousin is already called that, and she comes over every week.

I do feel like a weight has been lifted now that you guys seem to have found the right one, but the doubt remains.

Does anyone else have an opinion or idea?

Oh, I misunderstood that. I thought your daughter was named Liva. But they're lovely names!
  9. Irma 1987 #10

    Do you love short names?
    lyn
    mara
    lisa/liza
  10. Anonymous Guest #11

Lyn comes up too often for us.
    Mara isn't really my style.
Lisa is lovely, but it's already in the family, so no Lise/Lize either.

    But thanks for thinking along!

I think it's a really nice combination! And I think both Nina (a bit more bold name) and Liva (a bit sweeter name) are really beautiful!
Besides, both names consist of two syllables.... (That's my preference)...
    I say let's do it!

    Good luck

    Super cute names! Totally fine!
  13. Linda #14

I find it nice and really good that we can get along so well!
  14. ii Guest #15

I like Liva. The combination works.
  15. Joy85 #16

Maybe you like Lieve too? It sounds like Liva but doesn't have the same ending sound as Nina.
    Good luck!
  16. Anonymous Guest #17

    I was thinking that too..!
  17. Anonymous Guest #18

Personally I think Liva and Nina are really beautiful! They also go well together. I'd go for Nina and Liva.
Now I heard the name Livia last week.. It's a bit longer than Liva... But in combination with Nina?!

Lyn(n), Liv, Lis, those kinds of names I also find sound very short and unfinished....
  18. Emily Guest #19

    Livia is also really nice!

    Sounds fun
