Good evening everyone.
For the past 4 days, I've usually had brown blood mixed with some mucus when wiping during the day. Could this already be the start of my period? Normally, my expected period date is tomorrow. Has anyone else had a longer period of this kind of bleeding and still gotten their period? I'm driving myself crazy with hope and I'm afraid a pregnancy test will just bring disappointment again. I also called the gynecologist on Tuesday and she said it would be my regular cycle. But now, on the 4th day, I still haven't gotten my period. Has anyone had the same experience?

I've had this twice in the past.
1st time I had a double cycle, so I didn't ovulate, skipped a cycle. But then I did have brown discharge for a few days around my period days because the cycle took so long.
2nd time I had 5 days of brown discharge, and only then did my period start. While normally my period comes right away... -

So it could be the same for me. I'm 36 now, and I've never had this before, so I found it strange. But you never know, right? That's why I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet. Our bodies can play tricks on us sometimes.
