name on the birth announcement

Linda
Hi!
We'd like to name our daughter after our grandmas, and her nickname will be a combination of those two names. But how do I make that look nice on the birth announcement? We want to keep the card quite simple, but also not give the impression that she has 3 names. So her official names are different from her nickname. By the way, it's not like it's a completely different name (I read online the example Trijntje Jacoba, nickname Beatrijs), but a combination of the 2 names, that's why we don't want to give the nickname as the first name. That would be a bit redundant.
Do you have any tips?

It depends on how many sides your card has. For example, I would make the nickname part of an image in such a case. Then use the full name in the text.

I'd make the nickname bigger and put her full names underneath (in smaller text). Keep it calm.

Good luck with your decision, and if not, ask the printer for advice on what looks the best.

    Or: we're naming her X

    Yes, something like:

    Born: Name 1, Name 2.
    We're calling her: Nickname.

Probably 2-sided, an elongated card with something on the front and back. We're making the cards ourselves, my partner is good with graphic design etc., but I'll definitely have a look around at other cards I come across! Thanks!

Good luck! Make something beautiful and timeless out of it.

Yes, or the nickname on the front and then the birth names on the back where everything else is also included.

    It'll probably look like this:

    'Born!

    Nickname (uppercase)

    Date etc.

    Her full name is:

Birth name 1, birth name 2.

    Etc.'

    Do you think that's clear?

    Clear enough!

I'd just write 'full' instead of 'volle'.

I agree, better is, her full name is: or otherwise her name is in full:
