6 weeks overdue, symptoms, test negative

Hi there! You mentioned you took a test 3 weeks ago and then another one a week later (so 2 weeks ago), and both were negative. Since that was already 2 weeks ago, I’d suggest taking another test as soon as possible! The spotting you had could have been implantation bleeding, when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine lining, which can cause some bleeding. Take another test soon, and whether it’s positive or negative, I’d still recommend making an appointment with your GP. If your period is missing for 2 months, there’s definitely a reason for it, and your doctor is best placed to figure it out. Good luck!
