Dear readers,
I'd like to share my story if that's okay... I'm actually quite nervous.
First of all, I've been taking the pill very neatly for over 2 years now, until almost 3 weeks ago.
On the 5th day of my pack. I forgot a pill on Saturday night. I only realized this the following night. I then took the missed pill + the one I had forgotten. The next day I called the GP and asked for advice. That same day I went to the pharmacy to get an emergency contraceptive pill (MAP). Now comes the (not so) nice part. Since I have trouble swallowing pills. I cut the MAP pill in half. So to take 2 halves. One half ended up in my stomach. The other in the toilet. Oh (less pleasant) I thought. But we still had unprotected sex every week. And now suddenly very vivid dreams, hot flashes, and nausea with waves, not being able to go to the toilet. I also feel like something else is wrong with me. And now I'm really worried. (sorry).
Does anyone have an opinion or advice on this rather complicated story? Am I right to be worried?
Thank you for your time.
