Am I pregnant or was I pregnant?

Hi

Long story short, here are the answers to your questions:

-no, you don't have symptoms before implantation; symptoms are caused by hormones that are only released after the embryo has implanted.
-yes, you only start producing hCG after implantation, so pregnancy tests are always negative because there are no hormones in the urine.
-yes and no, with an early miscarriage you can test positive or negative because there may not be enough hCG present; it depends on how long the embryo has been developing.

I think you're not pregnant; you're on the pill, he didn't finish inside you, negative tests, and 'period'... I think the chance is zero.

    Thanks for your reply, Crumb!

I think I forgot to mention that I missed the pill a few times. At least twice, max four times. But the chance is still so small. It's sad, but there's nothing you can do about it. So it was either a false pregnancy or an early miscarriage. Both are really sad. Sigh, and I have to tell all this to my partner tonight, who's at work right now, eager to hear if he's going to be a dad.

But thanks for your reply, it brings that 1% chance of pregnancy down. Now I can focus on processing it. No baby for me and my partner for now. It hurts, well, you know. Hopefully, one day... we'll become parents. Fingers crossed!
