9 days before due date, bleeding

Hi ladies,

I have a question: my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a while now. Well, we had intercourse last night. After that, I had some light bleeding... I'm supposed to get my period in 9 days (currently on day 8). The bleeding was short-lived and I don't have it anymore. I've never experienced this before... can anyone relate? Did you get your period back then, or were you pregnant? Thanks everyone!

    Hi!
    I don't have personal experience with this, so unfortunately I can't answer from experience. However, I have read that implantation bleeding can also occur around that time. So I hope that's what it is for you!

    Hi,

    I’ve had that happen before. It could be that a small blood vessel burst, which happens fairly often and isn’t a reason to panic.

    When you’re pregnant, everything is more vascular, so you can also get some bleeding after intercourse more easily.

    I don’t think it’s implantation bleeding, but maybe one of the above.

    Hi ladies,
    I had light bleeding 6 days after ovulation. If all goes well, I'm now 8 days past ovulation. Is it still possible that I'm pregnant? Thanks in advance, ladies.
