pregnant and I live in Hungary

Hi, I'm Rowanda and I'm currently 21 years old.
I'm exactly 12 weeks pregnant today.
I had my second ultrasound today and they measured it at 67.1 mm.
I live in Hungary, so everything is a bit different here.
Lots of check-ups every month with the (protective) midwife and an ultrasound every month.
It wasn't planned, but very much welcome.
I find it really exciting, especially because things go differently here than in the Netherlands,
though I have to say that the care is very good and proper.

Does anyone else have tips or experiences from abroad?

Greetings, Rowanda

My experience is also that it's often much better organized abroad. Do you speak the language? That was the biggest problem for me.

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Here in Belgium we also go to the gynecologist monthly for check-ups and have an ultrasound every month. And if you're pregnant, you regularly have internal exams.
I also always have to bring my urine to be tested with those sticks.

As for the rest, no experience abroad at all.

Congratulations on the pregnancy! Enjoy it!

No experience with being pregnant abroad, but it seems well-organized if I read that! Nice!

Dabkje yes, I do pronounce it but it's not fluent yet and these are words you don't hear or smell very often. I have my 14-year-old brother who translates for me but he can't always help because of school.
I also think you're definitely getting good help here

Thanks! My urine is being monitored by the midwife, just like my weight and size. I'm definitely enjoying it since the weather is nice and I don't have any symptoms like nausea or vomiting, just feeling a bit tired and needing to pee a lot.

Yeah, I had my second ultrasound yesterday and they measured again. Everything was fine. It's now 12 weeks and 1 day, and 67.1 mm.
