summer clothes/winter clothes

Hi,
Just a quick question for the moms who are already moms, or who have experience. I've already asked in several stores whether there's a big difference in warmth, fabric thickness, etc., between summer baby clothes (what you can buy now) and winter ones.
But I'm not getting a unanimous answer from the stores. I'm wondering now: if I buy summer clothes on sale for our baby who's born in November, won't the baby get too cold?? Or is there really no difference, and is it enough to just put a long-sleeved romper on her?

Greetings

Yeah, some things do differ in terms of fabric and thickness, but don't forget about the style either!
Long-sleeved rompers are just rompers with long sleeves. That doesn't change with the seasons. With really newborn baby clothes, it doesn't really differ. When I look at prenatal clothing, I see the same clothes now as I bought for my September baby.
I would just feel it myself. Does the fabric feel nice and soft and warm? And I would also pay good attention to the style. I got some clothes in larger sizes, and my son fits them now, but in terms of style, I find it too wintery, so I don't wear it on him now.
