Which stroller...

The title says it all... What strollers do you have and especially why?
I currently have a Quinny but would really like a new stroller for our second child...

It'll probably be the Bugaboo or the Joolz, looking forward to hearing your experiences!

I'm planning to get a Stokke. It's quite pricey, but I think it's beautiful. You can get it with either the summer or winter kit.

Yeah, that one is cool too! My sister has it too... Only, she doesn't find the hard wheels practical... But the stroller itself is really super cool!

    Hi Lexy,

I live in Suriname myself. I'll be coming to the Netherlands somewhere in August to pick up all the necessary items. I'm not sure if the tires will be suitable for the roads here, as they're a bit less developed than in the Netherlands.

I can definitely use the summer kit all year round here.

    Hi!
We already have a Maxi-Cosi C-Max stroller for our little boy, which converts from a carrycot to a walking stroller.

It’s very practical, easy to convert, with inflatable wheels so it doesn’t ride too “hard”, and the front wheel can be adjusted to either one wide wheel or two separate ones.
We’re really happy with it. :-D

We swear by our Bugaboo. It folds up nicely, is maneuverable, and is great to ride with.

We have a Bugaboo. What I think is ideal about this stroller is that it folds up small. And you can also turn the buggy seat towards you, so you can keep a good eye on them (especially when they're still very small) and interact with them. Ideal stroller!!

I also prefer the Bugaboo! So I'm secretly already looking... Can I give my old stroller to my mom?

    The mother had to be!

I'm also looking for a suitable stroller. It mainly needs to be height-adjustable because my boyfriend is 2.07 cm tall and I'm 1.80 cm tall, so we want to be able to push it comfortably and also reach the baby without getting back problems ;-)

But it also has to fit in a Toyota Aygo, and that car doesn't have that much space!
Does anyone have a good idea.???

Thanks in advance for the replies :-D

    Hi PinQ,

Stokke is known for being a very suitable stroller for tall people. We chose it ourselves because my partner is 1.91m and the Stokke is adjustable, both the baby seat and the push part of the stroller itself.

    Hope this helps you out!

Hi, that doesn't fit in the Aygo, I know from experience. The Bugaboo does.
  12. solara #13

Do you mean that? That's quite a shame. I thought it folded up pretty well and even fit in a smaller car...
  13. Réwana #14

@Solara: Yeah, I’ve read that before too, that it’s super suitable for taller people like us, but the price tag is a bit of a letdown.!

@Levy: Well, now I finally know.! Then the Stokke is out for me, unfortunately, or the Aygo but trading it in for a slightly bigger little car;-) but preferably not, of course.
And which Bugaboo would fit then.? I believe you have several variants of it, right.?

Hi, I think it's called the Chameleon or something like that. Just the 'normal' version.

I also had a C1 and it fit perfectly; I had to take the wheels off, but that was click-click and done. The rest didn't fit at all.

We now also have a bigger car :-)
  15. Réwana #16

Okay, so now I know a bit more, thanks.

And otherwise, I might as well get a bigger car ;-)

We went for a Mutsy 4rider! With pneumatic tires. That's nicer for going through the woods and over curbs etc. It rides really smoothly too. We also have a vintage Koelstra pram, which is just great for a cozy stroll around town :-)

    Have fun choosing!!

That Mutsy 4Rider sounds interesting, Birgit! Pneumatic tires are indeed nice for bumpy roads. I had a Koelstra from the '70s back then, fun for a while, but not ideal if you're out and about a lot. The Cameleon is indeed handy, Levi, click-click is fine.
