I'm 31 weeks + 4 days and have gained 8 kilos. Does anyone know how much weight you normally lose after giving birth and breastfeeding?

15 weeks pregnant and gained 1 kilo

    I've gained 5 kg at 38.4 weeks.
Anonymous, I always understood that after giving birth you lose twice your baby's birth weight all at once. So half is the baby and the other half is amniotic fluid/placenta/fluid.

    Hi!

With my first pregnancy, I gained +28 kg. Now I'm 21 weeks and have only gained 5 kg, much less than with my first at 21 weeks.

10 to 15 kilos is normal, my midwife told me.

With the first one, I gained 10 kilos.
The second one only 5, gained, lost, gained again, and lost again.
And now I'm almost 15 weeks and have gained 4 kilos.

I'm 33 weeks and have gained twelve kilos.
Does it really happen that you lose these kilos quickly?

During my pregnancy, I weighed about 56 kg at the start, and by the end (he was born at 35.4 weeks), I weighed around 80 kg. So I gained 24 kg. But this was never a problem for me. Right after giving birth, I already lost 10 kg, and after one month of breastfeeding, I was at 61 kg. I’ve stayed at that weight ever since, but it’s no problem

I'm now 37 weeks pregnant and have gained 10kg.

I weighed 64kg before the pregnancy, unfortunately lost 6kg in the first trimester and now I weigh 68kg so only 4kg more than before and you can't really see it either, I'm not any fatter than usual, it's just that my belly gets in the way otherwise I could still wear my own pants I think I look beautiful pregnant with my little round belly

I'm almost 35 weeks pregnant right now and have gained 17 kg , pretty proud of that considering I've always had a low weight. I've always said I'd only be chubby if I were pregnant..... That's happened but I'm not really chubby yet, those 17 kg aren't really visible on my body

    Hi ladies.
I'm due this Saturday at 40 weeks and have gained a total of 9 kilos. I weighed 42 and now weigh 51. So I've gained almost a quarter of my body weight. I'm 1.58m tall. With me, it's really just my belly that's grown; my body is otherwise exactly as it was before I got pregnant.

    Hi!
I’ve given birth by now, but I gained almost 11 kg. I’m 1.84 m tall.

I didn’t pay attention to my weight during either of my pregnancies with my princesses; I thought the baby was much more important than my weight.
But now I have to say that I haven’t changed much—just a bit fuller in my breasts.
Other than that, I’ve gained weight in all the right places.
But I think if you just eat normally, eat fruit, and have a varied diet, you won’t gain too much weight, just normal.
It might sound strange, but I think the more you think about your weight, the more you gain.
    Greetings, Madelene

I'm now 29+3 weeks and have gained 7.5 kg. I still need to lose 13 kg from the whole ICSI affair to get back to my normal weight.

I'm now 14 weeks and 4 days and have gained around a kilo and a half. I'd like to start working out again from now on since my nausea is gone. Hope I can keep my weight under control again like in the first few months.

I'm now 30 weeks and have already gained 22 pounds. I've also been holding onto a lot of fluid for the past 4 weeks...

I'm 29 weeks and 4 days and have barely gained 4 kilos. It's because I lost some weight in the beginning. I weighed 59 kilos and now 62.5 kilos.

Big frustrations here: I'm now 34 weeks and have gained 17kg! And it keeps going up, even though I absolutely don't eat anymore. I barely dare to go outside, I feel so fat On top of that, nobody holds back from showing that I've gained so much weight, as if I do nothing all day but snack. I do hold a lot of fluid (I don't even remember what my feet look like normally!) and I always have trouble going to the toilet anyway. I'm mostly afraid that a lot of kilos will stick around after giving birth

31 weeks now, and 5 kg added.
First pregnancy I gained 13 kg in total, son was born 2 days before the due date.
  19. jw #179

I've gained 1.6 kg since 30 weeks. But up to 26 weeks, I was really nauseous all the time.

I gained 30 kg with both my kids, kept the house messy for months, didn't eat much... yet I still gained weight. I didn't track it myself, didn't care, but the midwives weighed you at every visit... at least 18 and 14 years ago. I lost those 30 kg again within 3 months after giving birth.
