How to feel the baby move

Hi everyone!

A general question: in what ways can you feel the baby move?
I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant & my doctor has inadvertently made me quite anxious. From now on, you MUST feel the baby every day. If not, go to the ER immediately.
But how & how much do I need to feel my baby.
My baby isn't a wriggly butt. What is enough to get confirmation that everything is okay in there?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

    hihoi!

The guideline is that you should feel at least 10 to 15 movements per day. You count every shift, kick, or turn. These 10 to 15 movements are spread over at least 2 to 3 "movement moments" per day.

The above applies from 28 weeks of pregnancy!

And it doesn't have to be big movements; a gentle pat counts too.
Anyway, babies are very different in that regard. One is super active and the other is calm. It also depends on your placenta; if it's positioned at the front, you feel less. The most important thing is that you don't suddenly feel much less than usual (= less than before in your current pregnancy).
