Sharp pains in a hard belly

Hi there,

I'm currently 30 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Since Thursday, I've been having a lot of hard and tight contractions. I also get sharp pains in my belly, and when the baby kicks, I nearly scream from the pain. It seems to have gotten worse since today.

I took a warm shower this afternoon, but it didn't help at all.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be? And maybe some tips?

    Hey,

    I'd say get checked out, with an EGO blood or urine test.
    I had the exact same thing at 20 weeks pregnant. I went to the hospital in Vilvoorde after a terrible experience where they didn't do any tests at all and just sent me home.
    The next day we lost our baby , miscarriage.
    So, please get thoroughly checked and cared for.

    Thanks for your reply. On Wednesday I had a full check-up at the hospital. Blood test, urine test, CTG and ultrasound. Everything was fine except for my iron levels.

    The midwife had initially suspected pre-eclampsia, which is why they referred me to the hospital. Luckily, it was just my iron that was low.

    Hi everyone,
    I'm now 30 weeks pregnant and I'm currently experiencing hard contractions and a slight sharp pain just above my pubic bone, which comes and goes every ten minutes. What could this be?
